The Olympics and the Thames Gateway Projects offer the most exciting opportunities in London and the UK for generations. I am anxious that the projects succeed spectacularly and leave behind communities with a great infrastructure and iconic buildings and a legacy of opportunities in innovation, education and above all a decent clean environment for the benefit of everyone.
